Suffolk County Community College’s Student Art Exhibition will be on view from April 23 through May 18, 2026, at the Flecker Gallery on the Ammerman Campus in the Southampton Building. The exhibition offers the campus community an opportunity to see and celebrate student artwork in a gallery setting.
The event highlights the creativity and talent of Suffolk students while giving their work a visible place on campus. Exhibitions like this do more than display finished pieces. They also recognize the time, skill, and personal expression that go into making art.
In addition to the exhibition itself, the event will include a Reception, Award Ceremony, and May Arts Cookout on Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m. The reception gives students, faculty, and visitors a chance to come together, view the artwork, and celebrate the artists whose work is being featured.
The exhibition features a variety of artistic styles and mediums, reflecting the range of work students are creating. That kind of variety can make events like this especially meaningful on a college campus, where art becomes a way to share perspective, creativity, and individual voice.
For students interested in the arts, or for anyone simply looking to experience something creative on campus, the SCCC Student Art Exhibition offers a chance to explore student work in a thoughtful and welcoming space.
