I am writing to make you aware of an incident that occurred on campus during late afternoon of Monday, April 13, 2026, on the first floor of the Suffolk Credit Union building. A repeat offender, known white male, entered a classroom on the first floor of the Suffolk Credit Union Building.
He was disruptive to the class, and had another individual with him that was video-taping him with a phone. The incident did not go on for a long time, and the faculty member handled the situation calmly and appropriately, requesting the men leave the classroom immediately and calling 911 and public safety.
They left without any further interactions.
Thankfully, no one was harmed, and our Public Safety Officer arrived immediately after being contacted about the incident. Once the officer arrived to the scene, statements were taken from all those who witnessed the incident. Suffolk PD arrived as well. This individual has been served Persona Non Grata (PNG) by the College which bans him from Campus. He is also facing charges with Brookville police for his antics at LIU. He has been banned from Nassau Community College and SUNY Old Westbury as well.

Please know that the safety of our students, faculty, and employees is a priority. Public Safety officers will continue to monitor the campus and facilities.
Our standard practice to maintain the safety and security of our campuses, is to contact the College’s Office of Public Safety to report any unusual occurrences and suspicious activity. If you see something that does not seem ordinary, makes you uncomfortable, or causes you to have concern for your safety or the safety of those around you, dial 631-451-4242 or 311 from any campus phone so that Public Safety can assist you.
As always, dialing 911 is an available option.
