The Theatres at Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) and The Lively Arts Series have unveiled a captivating lineup for their Spring 2025 season, offering a diverse range of performances across two campuses.
The season kicks off with Midnight at the Masquerade on February 8 at the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood. Guests will don Venetian masks (provided at the door) for this immersive murder mystery set at the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball.
On March 1, the cultural richness of India comes to life in Tyohaar, a vibrant production celebrating Indian festivals through traditional dance, music, and drama.
Kenneth Lonergan’s acclaimed play Lobby Hero will take center stage at the Ammerman Campus in Selden from March 6–16. Directed by Steven Lantz-Gefroh, this gripping drama explores loyalty, truth, and the cost of justice.
For a high-energy experience, catch Break Sk8 on April 5 at the Michael J. Grant Campus. This roller-skating dance crew combines athleticism and artistry, with a global résumé including performances on the Great Wall of China.
The season closes with the musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert from April 17–27 at the Ammerman Campus. This heartwarming story of friendship and self-discovery features dazzling costumes and a hit-filled soundtrack including “It’s Raining Men” and “I Will Survive.”
The spring series also includes free student music concerts on May 8 and 9 at the Ammerman Campus.
