Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) is inviting students to showcase their artistic talents and help commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Michael J. Grant Campus with a poster contest. Established in 1974, the Grant Campus has reached a major milestone in 2024, and SCCC is looking to celebrate with original, creative posters that capture the spirit and legacy of the campus.
The contest offers a unique opportunity for students to express their appreciation for the campus and its history through creative expression. Students are encouraged to use any artistic medium, including photography, to create memorable posters honoring the occasion.
Submissions are due by November 15, 2024, and must be delivered to Professor Pardini at the LRC Library in room 129. The top three posters will be selected for display in the LRC Library and will also be featured in school publications. Winners will be presented with award certificates as a token of recognition.
For questions regarding the contest, students may reach out to Professor Bruce Seger, Chair of the Grant 50th Anniversary Committee, at [email protected].
