Ash Irizarri is a multi-talented artist and has been writing and drawing since she was a young child, with drawing being her primary medium. She began writing at age 12 when she wrote a short story for Spanish class at her school in Dominican Republic.

Ash initially came to SCCC to study law, but quickly changed majors to Creative Writing to expand her writing skills and help her craft songs for her band.

She also enjoys classic movies like The Godfather (I-II), Singing in The Rain, Whiplash, and her all-time favorite–The Shining. She also enjoys music and enjoys artists like Sublime, Gorillaz, Superheaven and Nirvana–but she’ll listen to anything that sounds good.
