Calling all DreamWorks fans! There is a new DreamWorks Interest Group that meets at the Ammerman Campus in the Islip Arts Building in room 102 on Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The DreamWorks club will be doing Kahoot’s and discuss movies such as The Wild Robot, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, and many more. Please swing by if you are interested as we are looking for officer positions at the moment.
I am the president of this club, as well as the founder. Dr. Peters is the club advisor, and she is very great with students. My plans for this club are to have field trips, discuss the history of the animation company, have early movie screenings, etc. Many of these movies are based on children’s literature such as Dog Man, which came out earlier this year, and Captain Underpants which is by the same author, Dav Pilkey. If you are into such graphic novels, you are more than welcome to join!
