Dear WSP Readers,
I believe that this issue of your Western Student Press will bring you insight and guidance as to the goings-on at the Grant campus as we slowly begin to wrap up the Fall 2024 semester.
Throughout this issue you will read about some of the activities going on at our Grant campus, helpful tips from some of our staff, and ways to excel academically while also making the most out of the holiday season with recipes to share with friends and family!
As this is my first year being a part of the Grant campus student newspaper — and Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) in general — it’s a great honor to have such a title to my name. Anyone who knows me knows I have a huge love of writing, literature, and all things of that nature. It brings the Western Student Press staff and I immense joy to write articles for this campus; not only informing our readers of things going on at SCCC, but also sharing our love for things through the universal languages of music and cinematic entertainment — those of which you can find reviews on in this November issue!
I sincerely hope the writings of the Western Student Press bring you awareness, fulfill your curiosity, and encourage you to continue reading. It is a privilege to write this paper as a staff member, and even more so as your future Editor-in-Chief.
Editorially yours,
Yanci
