This year How to Train Your Dragon is celebrating its 15-year anniversary as it is one of the most beloved movie franchises. It has an animated trilogy of movies as well as a live-action remake coming this June. The story is about a teen boy whose dad forces him to become a viking in order to kill dragons on the Island of Berk. This movie takes place in the viking world where men and women want to destroy the dragons. Hiccup befriends a night fury which is the most dangerous dragon of all, then meets a group of students who want to become vikings. Their names are Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, and Tuffnut and Ruffnut who are twin brother and sister. Gobber, a close friend of Stoick’s, teaches the young vikings how to fight a dragon but Hiccup learns how to calm the dragons down and to not be afraid of him.
The How to Train Your Dragon franchise cast includes Jay Baruchel (She’s Out of My League), Gerard Butler (Olympus Has Fallen), America Ferrara (Barbie), Jonah Hill (Superbad), Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), Craig Ferguson (Then Came You), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Kick A**), TJ Miller (Office Christmas Party), David Tennant (Doctor Who), Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond), and F.
